Intro to yoga is a 4 week consecutive Wednesday workshop specifically designed for students with little or no yoga experience. This small-class setting is an ideal way to learn the fundamentals of a safe, healthy yoga practice.
You will learn multiple traditional yoga poses. With mindfulness you will develop body awareness, and find proper alignment. You will explore the breath, and begin connecting your breath with movement in the Sun Salutation. An eastern look at prana/spirit will also be incorporated into the learning experience. In combining mind, body, and spirit, as a beginner you will begin your yogic journey.
The workshop is perfect for yoga beginners or practitioners that would want to deepen Sun Salutation practice. It will be a slow paced workshop in which we will focus on the details of the physical and energetic aspects of each Asana, along with mindful physical modifications. ———————————————————— PRICE: $60 for Four sessions WHAT TO BRING: A bottle of water and your good energy!
