She began practicing yoga 15 years ago as a teenager in conjunction with training in ballet. Over the years, yoga became the primary physical, mental, and emotional practice that guides her learning and curiosity for life, constantly teaching her how to be well in the world. Lindsey’s earliest teachers were focused on alignment based Ashtanga series and as an undergraduate, she was drawn to Lila Studio for its sincere dedication to practice beyond the mat. She completed her 200hr teaching certification with Erica Kaufman, founder of Lila Yoga in May of 2015. Then, for 5 years she lived throughout the U.S. and abroad studying a variety of philosophies including Mysore, Jivamukti, and Lila Yoga.
