I started practicing Yoga to simply experience balance, stability, and peace. Yoga helps me focus and direct my energy to the things I truly enjoy. In particular, asana practices teach me the tools to live the life the way I like – by keeping myself active and busy while focusing on different tasks simultaneously, and having the utmost fun doing so! I love the way yoga harmonizes me with life, as an environmentally conscious, socially aware individual.
I completed my RYT 200 certification with Erica Kaufman in January of 2017. Since then I have been teaching in Lila Yoga Studios, and particularly enthusiastic about emphasizing the body alignment and breath coordination to ease the mind during the asana practices.
