Moé Kishida completed the 200hr Lila Yoga Teacher Training with Erica in 2015. Due to her awe for the human body and for the beauty of silence, Moé enjoys communication through movement, rather than words. This is why she has a growing curiosity in contact improvisation, and hopes to grow a contact community in State College, inspired by a free-spirited woman and Lila Yoga teacher, Nikki. On her academic side, she aspires to do meaningful research that can shed light on the potential relational pathways in which yoga works to impact practitioners “off of the mat”, as they go about their day-to-day lives.
Inspired through the many volunteer organizations and people she met during the aftermath of March 11th 2011, Moé hopes to one day be involved in work which combines her two passions of movement and healing.
