It’s Spring! With the change of seasons comes the opportunity to let go and EXPAND.
During this two-and-a-half-hour workshop, visiting NYC teacher and State College native Jen Brown will share a powerful “Rebirthing” yoga and meditation set from Yogi Bhajan’s Kundalini teachings that cleans the bodily and energetic systems, releasing emotions like anger and grief, and balancing sexual, heart, and navel energies. Jen will hold the space for all participants to go through their own process of rebirth. This is the time for growth!
This workshop will include sound healing (gong) by local teacher Kathryn Fleming.
Kundalini Yoga is the Yoga of Awareness. It uses breath, mudra, eye-focus, mantra, body locks, and postures to balance the glandular system, strengthen the nervous system, expand lung capacity, and purify the blood.
The effects of Kundalini Rebirthing work are profound. People can expect to leave the workshop feeling lighter, more secure, and steady in the heart. Past participants have reported experiencing long-term positive changes in their bodies and minds.

Jen grew up in State College, studied journalism and German at Boston University, and worked in the music business for several years in the United States and Germany. From her early teens into her mid-20s, she spent a lot of time and energy working to overcome personal trauma, but couldn’t make any major breakthroughs while staying within the confines of the psychological realm. In 2013, she hit a wall when a series of back-to-back life challenges arose and her former methods of coping didn’t adequately support her. The experience propelled her to go deeper and face various blocks on the bodily and spiritual levels. Through opening to pain and loss, Jen has learned how to find acceptance, freedom, and love. The work she shares with others is a result of the work she’s done and continues to do herself. Jen provides a committed, loving approach to long-term change, primarily using Kundalini Yoga, Insight Meditation, and Reiki techniques while working with others. She’s a believer in having to open to one’s difficulties with awareness and kindness in order to get to the other side and experience wholehearted living. Jen currently teaches in New York and Pennsylvania. Her main teachers are Tara Brach and Gurmukh. Learn more at heartgrounding.com.
